Services of Hariyali in protection of environment were acknowledged by the grant of an Award of Rs. 21,000/- by the Dombivali Nagari Sahakari Bank Ltd, Dombivali, Dist. Thane at a spcial function organized by the Bank at Dombivali on Sunday, 17th January 2010. The Award was received by Shri Punam Singavi, Founder President of Hariyali along with other Members of the Managing Committee, namely M/s Nitin Khare, Ajit Deshbandhu and Govind Chavan.
The Award was given by the Bank in discharge of its social obligation wherein it is the practice of the Bank to distribute 1% of its net annual profit to various social service organizations operating within its geographical limits. Hariyali was one of the 80 such Organizations selected by the Bank for distribution of its allocable profits for the year ended 30th June 2009.
